Davidoff Grand Cru Diademas Finas Limited Edition Collection - Box of 10

In 1946, Zino Davidoff set out to create a cigar blended with the same philosophy as a great Bordeaux wine selecting tobacco by terroir, layering three distinct fillers, letting complexity build over time. The Grand Cru line was born from that idea.

This is its pinnacle.

The Grand Cru Diademas Finas Limited Edition Collection marks the first time Davidoff has incorporated wine-cask aged tobacco into a blend. Dominican San Vicente seco is matured for six months in spent Premier Grand Cru Bordeaux wine casks, turned every two weeks, before being rolled into the legendary 6¾ x 50 diadema vitola.

The result is a cigar of remarkable depth creamy and smooth from the first draw, with notes of toasted oak, roasted peanut, baked bread, nutmeg and a persistent white pepper on the retrohale. A floral sweetness evolves through each third, building towards a medium-plus finish that lingers long after the smoke is gone. Rated 92 by halfwheel.

Just 15,500 boxes were produced worldwide. This is the fourth and final release in Davidoff's History Re-Rolled Series and the one that brings the Grand Cru story full circle.
